How have you use SEO and tags to ensure your blogs is seen by search engines?

For my blogs to be seen by search engines I have use the tags in which I place the common things that people would search for. For example I wrote a blog of the following title “How, according to O’Brian, does the The Party as an oligarchy differ from Nazism or Russian Communism? How does he define the role of the martyr, both in terms of The Party and the other totalitarian systems?”. In this blog I use common things from the blog title that people would normally search for like #nazis or #russanrevolution and so on. Also I would place the characters that appear on that blog like In this case #O’Brian and #Winston. The places that take place in the blog I would also place them like #ChestnutTreeCafé #VictoryMansion or #Room101

How have you used SEO and tags to help search engines locate your blog?

Getting search engines to locate our blog is not an easy thing to do. I used different tags so people can find my post. For example on the first post I did I used bigbrotherandhitler as a tag because that is what my post talks about. Also I tried to use common words so it is more easy for people to find my post. Another thing I did is that I put key words and try to write something related with the question so people could find it more easy because if I put something general then it would be more hard to find. Then when I saw we Had several followers.

By: Alejandro Gonzalez The ways that I used SEO and the tags are various for example I think about various common words or phrases that people would put on google search engine about the book. Another thing is that i tagged obiously things to my blog as for example, to all my blogs i put the tags George Orwell and 1984. The last thing is that i put always more than ten tags to a blog so every blog has more than ten tags. This way of tagging had help me allot, Like 10 minutes later of publishing a blog i received two likes to that blog.

Getting search engines to locate our blog is not an easy thing to do. However, I tried to get them to notice our blog by using keywords in every post I wrote. For example, in the post I explained what “War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance Is Strength” means, I used the phrases from the quote a lot, because I know people who want to know the meaning of the quote will type these words into a search engine. From what I know, search engines have databases that look for common keywords in websites and then they use this to place them somewhere in the search engine (even if that is in like the 20th or 100th page of Google).

Another thing I did was to use very specific tags that people who look for a very specific topic would type into a search engine. I knew that if I only tagged #1984 or something general, then people who look for something more specific about the book wouldnt be able to find the information in our blog.

Luckily, our blog already has a some followers!  We have just about 5 followers, but I think it is a good start.

The Party and Nazism/Russian Communism

What O’Brian tells us about the party been different form the nazis and he Russian communism is that they made their intentions clear. All the control they had was for one thing, power. He states that the nazis and Russians were very close t never recognize the real reason of doing it. Different for the nazis they don’t let anyone get up their level like they did in a limited time.
For the party if INGSOC there’s no martyr. The reason for that is by looking at the past de decades and totalitarian governments made. The first thing that happen was with the middles ages when they obligated the religion. If they were accuse of Heresy and were torture. At the end there were people that lie and end up rebelling. Later came the Russian revolution more powerful than the religion. Unfortunately he same mistake was made and the Russian communist was destroyed. What the party really tries to do is something more brainwashing. They get people to believe their truth rather than the real truth. The make them believe that two plus two is equals five and that peace is slavery.

How Room Above Shop Represents Past for Winston

The room above represents many things for Winston is a place were he can relax, sleep withouth being seen, do with Julia anything that he wants, and do anything that he wants because in other places there a TV’s with cameras seeing anything that you are doing and is been reported to the big brother party and you cant get in jail but in the room above he didn’t have that type of trouble. Another thing that this room meant to Winston is that is a place were you can remember real history that was not changed because of the party because this room had old pictures and old things and he could remember his past when he was children how confrotable the past was when the party was not still governing and winston in this room could remember the real past and the things that he was thinking about the past are correct is place were he can confirm his memory of the past is correct.

Orwell’s Vision of A Dystopian Future Come True…

Orwell’s vision of a dystopian future has came true in many ways now in 2014-2015 as the following things that were in Orwell’s book of “1984”: The telescreens, DoubleThink and The memory hole. The telescreen in Orwell’ book were TV’s that were in public places and were a two-way TV’s in which they gave approved propaganda of the party and the TV’s spy the citizens. Now in 2014-2015 countries as U.S.A, London, etc. has security cameras on public places as parks, various streets and various places and if someone commits a infraction or a crime they can observe you through their cameras were you are or were are you going or they record you.

The DoubleThink in Orwell’s book was an act in which you accept two contradictions. This is happening now in various countries around the world for example in Honduras they wanted to create a law which was called ‘Ley Mostaza’ in which media can’t public too much things about crime to not stress people too much but in this same law media can’t public things that are happening inside the gorvernment only authorized things that the government accept so we can see that the government were wanting people to think that they wanted to control the media to them to not exagerate with the news and live in a less stressfull place but at the same time this law was to the government hide what there doing and people to not know what their doing.

For last we have the memory hole, in Orwell’s book the memory hole is a machine to dissapear incriminating or embarrasing documents. Now we have a machine very similar to that called the ‘Paper Shredders’ in which you can destroy any paper that you want and U.S.A president has one of this in his office in which he destroy every day a paper. In computers we can wipe its hard drive to erase any information or very important information that we don’t want to people know and in every country in the world the governments use computers.

‘If there is hope it lays in the proles’…what does this mean?

With this quotation what Winston it’s trying to say is that the hope of a country is in the proles because the proles were the only people that could destroy the big brother party and the proles were the 85% of oceania and with the 85% of the proles being against the party oceania could return again to their normal lives withouth being controlled by somebody, and having full liberty, withouth news being changed or thing being changed to favor ther party and not living in a false world instead they would live in a real world.

The dream of Winston was to live in a real world and not in a false world so the dream of winston was that the big brother party came down and dissapear and he saw that the only people that could destroy the party were the proles because the proles were not with the party and they were very united and had humanity but as winston saw the proles had to wake up and stop being affraid of the big brother party and do something about the situation and Winston had hope that one day the proles will wake up and bring down the party.

So as we saw the only way to accomplish Winston ‘s dream of bringing the party down is that the proles could see the strength they have and they could wake up and attack the big brother’s party. The proles being the 85% of oceania population if they could wake up they have a 99% of winning and bringing the party down. If the party comes down oceania could live again as in their past being all of them free and having liberty and living in a true world and not in a false world but the proles have to wake up. “If there is hope it lies on the proles”.

Strangest Things Since Party Came To Power

I have seen many strange things since been in the party. This things may have been normal for any person belonging to the party but strange for me. The first thing I see at the beginning of the book is that while doing my morning exercise I thinks of the relationship of  Oceania with Eurasia and Eastasia. I realize that the party History tells that Oceania had been always enemies with Eurasia and in alliance with Eastasia but that’s not true. Another strange thing i thought since been in the party was the fact that Big Brother appear in 1930 even though i didn’t hear about him until 1960. Also Winston starts remembering the time were he caught the party lying in the 1960s. I remember seen some leaders of the party sitting in the Chestnut Tree Café were i took a picture of them telling they were once part of the league with the party and supposedly where at the party function force to confess to their false crimes. Unfortunately I destroy it since I was afraid of been caught. The children books i saw at a store tells how the party were the ones who made the buildings which it is all a lie. Ever since the party came to power I have left my family died and taking chocolate and never seen them again. Children now in the party cause their parents for thought crime and are proud of it, like the Parsons. There is no love or sex admitted in the party since they lose their love for big brother which in my opinion it’s nonsense. That’s why I hate big brother and this party.

What makes the proles human, and the members of the party inhumane?

First of all the proles are the workers in which they are not part of the Oceania party of INGSOC. The proles are not watch by the party and life apart of the normal community of the party members. In the books they all are considers more humans than the party members since they can keep their own thoughts and lives. While the party members are force to be watched and monitor all day. By that they don’t have their own lives and even thoughts. Since the proles are bit monitor they aren’t arrested or send to Brainwash them in room 101. They are not force to be loyal to the party or any other. The reason for that the party have no control for them can be explain in this part of the book that says “They had held on to the primitive emotions which he himself had to re-learn by conscious effort.” They don’t have enough education it understand and comprehend the situations of the party. That’s another reason why they are not held into been force by the party, and it’s more easy to control them, rather than the people who have education might rebel by what they know.
